Where: Cross Anchor, SC

The perfect time to visit the Miles family cemetery is immediately following the reception for all those honoring John Farrow’s Revolutionary War service at New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, June 13th (weather permitting.)  After the reception, change into your going-to-a-cemetery-in-the-woods clothes.  The cemetery is located fairly close to the road but it is overgrown and in a wooded area.  It's a quick drive from the church with only roadside parking.  We’ll carpool from New Hope’s parking lot, returning back at the church in under an hour.   Also, if time allows, and there is interest, we can stop at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree.  Several Miles descendants are buried here.  We’ll be back at the hotel in plenty of time to rest and refresh before we close the reunion at Walnut Grove Plantation.
